Seamless Handover

snom’s multicell DECT solution links multiple M700 basestations together, forming a seamless network to allowfree movement between base stations. Initiated callscontinue uninterrupted while moving from one stationto the next. The multicell solution also supports thesnom M5 repeaters(2) with DECT encryption to furtherincrease reception range and to bridge gaps betweenbase stations.

Scalability

The multicell solution can be easily scaled and expandedup to a maximum of 40 M700 base stations, 200 handsets in the same network. Base stations synchronize and installthemselves; expensive additional controller hardware isnot necessary.With the M700 multicell system in your offi ce, theconnected snom M65(1) handsets enjoy many phonesystem features such as direct search in the corporatedirectory and HD audio.

Security

Wireless security is ensured by DECT encryption, whileTLS and SRTP ensure secure SIP communication. Andas an added value, you do not have to pay for licenses forthe included audio codecs, channels and other features.Based on snom provisioning, the system is interoperablewith all major VoIP systems such as Broadsoft andAsterisk.
