ICOM IC-V8000 144 MHz FM transceivers are no-nonsense units with an emphasis on power--power for your ultimate 2 meter mobile experience! These IC-V8000 transceivers offer the needed, most useful basics, plus a few special features in a super-durable, easy-to-operate mobile rig that will get your communications through! ICOM fills these single-piece, die-cast aluminum chassis with 75 W of output power. They also include a front firing speaker, a double-conversion super heterodyne system, and ample memory channels to stock your IC-V8000s with your favorite frequencies that you can name for quick channel identification and then store in 10 different banks. Plus, almost all front-panel operations can be made with the backlit keypad microphone for ultimate control in the palm of your hand!
